Using a high-end digital camera and specialized targets, objects are photographed from three or more different locations to develop appropriate lines of sight. Using powerful image coordinate measuring and adjustment software, the lines of sight are then mathematically intersected as 3-dimensional coordinates are derived for all the points of interest.
Objects can be measured accurately to 0.001 - 0.002" with repeated reliability. The measurement process is non-contact allowing for measurements of objects inaccessible with standard procedures. All the analysis can be performed on-site allowing for short turn-around time and substantial savings of time and money.
